Everyone is welcome to share in a night of recap and what's coming up
in 2010 for Beatniks.
Donations to defray costs will be collected. Snacks and beverages will
be available.

2010 V-Day Benifit Performance of The Vagina Monologues
$20. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Haven House of Hammond.
Beatniks has been going through a sort of facelift. We now have, with
the assistance of Hammond Community Theatre, risers for the back row of
seating! So every seat in the house is a terrific one. Rip and
Bonnie have been hard at work painting the risers and floors. Thanks to
the extended efforts of the Beatniks Babes shows...we have been able to
purchase small tables, for any dinner shows that come our way. We also
now have a new heating and air conditioning system to make your theater
experience comfortable.
Now notice the new commodes! Donated by Koreman Kitchens and Baths, and
Gerber. Thanks to Don Taylor for his help in this endeavor!
We would like to thank all the many volunteers that help to make this
venue a reality.
Meeting
occasionally at Beatniks is the Writer's
Workshop
Writer's
Workshop now meets occassionally at
Beatniks. We have heard from many people who would like to be involved
with writing skits, comedy, or whatever. Here's you chance to get
together with others wanting to explore the same. Contact comedien

beatniksonconkey@sbcglobal.net. Come be a part, get your ideas out
there. There is NO COST...just brain work.

Beatniks is open most weekends with a variety of entertainment such as
Plays, Open Mic Nights, Improv Nights, Comedy Shows, Music Shows,
Magic Shows, Fund-Raisers and Old Time Radio Shows. Ladies Night shows
include a dinner. We also offer child acting and improv classes,
writer's workshops, and occasionally a dance class will pop up.So to
