Rip and Bonnie Johnson want to thank all the special folks at NIETF for the wonderful honor (2012 Outstanding Achievement Award) given us at the 20th Annual Foundation Awards.  We accept this honor with the thought that anything we have achieved was not only by our efforts but the efforts of countless people helping in so many ways.  We have been blessed with so many people coming through our doors with ideas and dreams of a show they wrote or want to put together.  We are glad to help them with their dreams.  You see, we were the ones who gained so many friends along the way.  To quote a dear friend, “Beatniks is our clubhouse”.  You know the one we all wanted as kids.  We get to play, pretend, and be with the people we really like.    So, we accept this honor and share it with our Beatnik family because we do not stand alone, they are the crazy bunch of Beatniks with whom we stand.

BEATNIKS was created by Rip and Bonnie Johnson as a place for creative minds to try out new  material, for theater groups who need a place to perform, to offer the public a place to relax, have a cup of coffee, maybe a snack or two, and be entertained.
Unless otherwise marked, shows on Friday and Saturday - doors open at 7:30 PM, show starts at 8:00 PM
Sunday matinees - doors open at 1:30 PM, show at 2:00 PM
Plan on being prompt... for complimentary beverages, snacks and pastries
