The V-Day Benefit Performance of "The Vagina Monologues"; Hammond, was presented by the Beatnik Babes to benefit Haven House and the V-Day organization.
It was a great success!!
We raised about $1300 for the cause. Thanks to everyone who donated time, talent, or came.

Pyroflower Radio Hour returns with Episode VII
This is an update of an original Radio Show; live performance with all the bells and whistles. You will enjoy the comedy and wit in this delightful 12 part show. Even if you missed the some, you’ll catch up quick and want to see all of this 12 part series. Starts at 8:00pm and doors open at 7:00pm. Cost is $12.00.and Snacks as always are included. Reservations are recommended.

Pyroflower Radio Hour Episode VIII August 22nd 8PM

Watch for the next Episodes of The Pyroflower Radio Hour, usually at the end of each month. There are twelve in all, you won't want to miss any of them

Beatniks has been going through a sort of facelift. We now have, with the assistance of Hammond Community Theatre, risers for the back row of seating!! So every seat in the house is a terrific one. Rip and Bonnie have been hard at work painting the risers and floors. Thanks to the extended efforts of the Beatniks Babes shows...we have been able to purchase small tables, for any dinner shows that come our way. We also now have a new heating and air conditioning system to make your theater experience comfortable.
We would like to thank all the many volunteers that help to make this venue a reality.

Writer's Workshop
Writer's Workshop now meets every Tuesday at 7PM at Beatniks. We have heard from many people who would like to be involved with writing skits, comedy, or whatever. Here's you chance to get together with others wanting to explore the same. Comedien Sharon Harbert will oversee the workshop. Come be a part, get your ideas out there. There is NO COST...just brain work.
